Holiday switch with light / dark sensor
With this handy holiday switch, your lights turn on when the switch detects that there is little light. When the sun sets and the sensor detects less than ten lux for more than ten minutes, the switch will turn on the festoon belt automatically. In the summer the cable will then burn for two hours and in the winter the cable will burn for five hours. Of course, you can also switch the festoon belt on and off manually.
When you plug in the holiday switch, the LED light on the timer will blink three times. The built-in switch will also be turned on and off 3 times in a row. This is audible by the clicking sounds. After this test, the timer is ready to use.
If the timer detects more than ten minutes of twilight, it will run one of the three programs below in random order:
- The timer switches on and it switches off after 4/5 hours during the winter. During the summer it will switch off after about 2 hours. The timer can then be turned on randomly (1-3 times) and each switch-on time is approximately one hour.
- The timer switches on and it switches off after 4/5 hours during the winter. During the summer this will be after about 2 hours. The timer will then turn on every hour and each switch-on time is approximately 30 minutes.
- The timer switches on and it switches off after 4/5 hours during the winter. During the summer this will be after about 2 hours. The timer will then turn on every hour and each switch-on time is approximately 15 minutes.
The timer can be set to summer or wintertime via the button on the back. The timer will operate according to that program.
Do not place the timer directly next to a lamp or near electrical equipment. The timer must stay away from any electric and/or magnetic field.
